National Flood Insurance Program

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)  has accepted the Town of Stoddard into the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) effective
August 3, 2010.

participating community of the NFIP. 

All residents in Stoddard are now eligible to purchase a NFIP flood insurance policy.  Residents who want more information about flood insurance should talk to their existing insurance agent or go to

Pistol Permit Application

The application for a Pistol Permit is submitted to either the Selectmen's Office or the Stoddard Police Department.   Once a background check is completed and the the application approved by the Stoddard Constable, the actual permit form (this is a separate form) is completed and signed by the Selectmen.

Emergency Operations Plan; Hazard Mitigation Plan; & Point of Dispensing Plan

The Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), the Hazard Mitigation Plan, and the Point of Dispensing Plan were prepared by the Town of Stoddard Emergency Management Director, with assistance from the Stoddard EOP Committee and the Southwest Region Planning Commission, with funding provided by the NH Department of Safety, Bureau of Emergency Management.
