The Friends of the Davis Public Library and the Stoddard Historical Society are co-sponsoring a talk on Feb 12, 2010 Friday at 7:30pm at the Town Hall. The topic is "JRR Tolkien and the Uses of Fantasy".

The Building Committee and Baybutt Construction will conduct a Public Informational Meeting for the purpose of communicating progress and status of their work relating to Town Hall, potential town office space and other town-owned buildings. The Gould House will be open to the public. The meeting will take place in the Town Hall starting at 7 PM on Friday, February 26. A second meeting for any who cannot attend Friday evening will be held on Saturday, February 27th, at 10 AM.
