Community Events Organization Ice skating Party is Saturday Feb 20 from 12 noon to 4pm at the Island Pond boat landing. There will be Hot Dogs and Smores. Everyone welcome-stop by to visit or skate. If its tooo cold or the weather is bad it will be Sat Feb 27.

The Building Committee and Baybutt Construction will conduct a Public Informational Meeting for the purpose of communicating progress and status of their work relating to Town Hall, potential town office space and other town-owned buildings. The Gould House will be open to the public. The meeting will take place in the Town Hall starting at 7 PM on Friday, February 26. A second meeting for any who cannot attend Friday evening will be held on Saturday, February 27th, at 10 AM.

The Friends of the Davis Public Library are sponsoring a heartwarming and uplifting presentation at the Stoddard Town Hall Saturday March 13 at 7pm. It is called "It's not About the Hike" by Nancy Sporborg and Pat Piper. It's a multimedia presentation which grew out of their decision to begin walking at noontime. Since then they've climbed mountains but discovered that we all have our own "mountains" to climb such as going to college, getting a job, bringing up children, caring for aging parents, etc.
