                                          Stoddard Town Hall

Members present: Penny Betz, Dick Briere, Lou Grandpre', Harry Power, and Amy Rokoszak.

Absent: Sandy Holland, Alan Rumrill, P.J. Lamothe, and David Vaillancourt

Attendee: Arnie Stymest

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM by Chair, Dick Briere.

The following items were discussed at length;

Combination heating system to cover both the Town Hall and the Gould House with the boiler installed in the basement of the Gould House and the lines buried underground to the Town Hall. At this time, only one contractor and one plumber have provided comments. More contacts will be made.

A presentation by Keene State College Architectural students regarding the possibility of using the Gould House for town offices and potential ideas for the Davis Library are still in process. No firm date at the moment.

Repairs to the pier supports under the Town Hall with one local contractor offering a verbal estimate. A written proposal will be requested.

The status of the electrical upgrade underway in the Town Hall, which will be completed on Friday, July 31.

Penny Betz commented on the LCHIP program for obtaining grant funds for various projects on town-owned buildings and the workshop that she will attend on September 10, 2009.

A sub-committee, including Harry Power, Amy Rokoszak and Dick Briere, will review the extent of the work to be done on the Town Hall exterior and how priorities should be established. Some aspects of the work needed are dependent on preliminary work, e.g. carpentry before painting, new heating system before relocation of oil tanks.

Contractors in the various trades must be contacted to provide some costs to be presented to the joint committees and the Board of Selectmen in October.

Tentative meetings were scheduled for August 13 and 27.

Penny Betz took notes. Report by Dick Briere
