Become a Friend of the Davis Public Library
This newly formed group of "Friends" has completed the arduous task of forming a corporation and filing the necessary papers with the State and Federal governments. The Friends of the Davis Library is now officially a 501-C3 non-profit organization. This is a very important designation as it allows the "Friends" to compete for grant and foundation awards on behalf of the library. All contributions to the Friends of the Davis Public Library are tax deductible.
The Friends Board of Directors are:President - Sandy Sherman
Vice President - Ginger Saleski
Treasurer - Lindsay Freese
Secretary - Ruth Ward
Director at large - Gene Kelly
The Friends will be meeting on the second Thurday of the month at 7 p.m. at the library

We will be forming committees for helping with the annual Olde Home Days Book Sale, compiling a mail list for sending out a Friends fundraising letter, and reviewing other activities and programs to sponsor. We hope you will consider joining the Friends of the Davis Public Library.
