Thanks to the Friends the Davis Library we now offer family passes to some exciting NH Museums. The Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, The New Hampshire Historical Society Museum and Library in Concord and The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens on Lake Sunapee.
This is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons and enjoy more of what New Hampshie has to offer. The passes are for a single day general admission for 2 adults and accompanying children under 18 years of age.
If you are planning a trip it is best to call the Library during open hours or send an e-mail to library@stoddardnh.org to reserve your pass. Pick up your pass at the library and return it the next day. To find out more about the individual museums click on the corrosponding images above.
LIBRARY HOURS:
Monday and Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.,
Tuesday 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
As you all know Pubic Libraries are free to all town residents. Special programs such as these museum passes, childrens' book clubs, story time and Inter Library Loan programs are made possible by Friends membership dues. We want everyone to be able to share in supporting what is important to them and to reap the benefits. If you have an idea for improved programming please let us know. The friends meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month, 7 p.m. at the library. The annual dues are $5.00. If you would like to join your neighbors and friends and contribute to new and on going library programs please send a check or stop in to check out the library for yourself. Thank you!
All donations to the Friends of the Davis Public Library are tax deductable. Checks should be made payable to the Friends of the DPL.
