ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD November 4, 2009

MEETING CONVENED AT 7:01 PM

Members Attending: Beverly Power, Fred Ward, Ruth Ward, Richard Betz, Maureen Meyer and Alternate Nancy Robinson.

Correspondence:  Case of Municipal Significance:  ZBA Denial of Variance for Cell Tower; New Law Defines “Unnecessary Hardship”; denied building permit for Cheryl Dalphin on Tigola Trail; Notice from NH DES to Douglas Hall re:  East Shore Road – request for further information on application expand existing non-conforming primary structure; Notice from Town of Greenfield, NH re:  wireless tower public hearing – held June 8, 2009; letter from Sam Bradley re:  updated law on Unnecessary Hardship for Variance Finding of Facts form.

Minutes of previous meeting:  Fred Ward moved and Ruth Ward seconded to approve the March 18, 2009 minutes as presented, the board approved.

Old Business: Rules of Procedure update was reviewed.  Several changes and updated RSA’s were requested.  The secretary will update the new Rules of Procedure and email same to the board members for their approval.  When all have approved the changes, the secretary will have them posted on the Town’s web site.

New Business: Zoning Board of Adjustment Instruction for Applicants upgraded forms were given to the board members with a request that they review them and be prepared to address them at the March quarterly meeting.

Election of officers:  Richard Betz moved and Maureen Meyer seconded to       re-elect Beverly Power, chairman and Fred Ward, vice-chairman for the ensuing year, the board agreed.

Application for Variance: None

Application for Special Exception:  None

Adjourned:  Nancy Robinson moved and Ruth Ward seconded to adjourn at 8:47 PM, the board agreed.
