National Flood Insurance Program

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)  has accepted the Town of Stoddard into the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) effective
August 3, 2010. 

Here is the link to FEMA's Community Status Book
(http://www.fema.gov/fema/csb.shtm), which lists Stoddard as a
participating community of the NFIP. 

All residents in Stoddard are now eligible to purchase a NFIP flood insurance policy.  Residents who want more information about flood insurance should talk to their existing insurance agent or go to

FY 2010 / 2011 Conservation Grant Application

The Town of Stoddard is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Conservation Grant by the New Hampshire State Library for $ 7,305 to be used for the project entitled "Stoddard Town Records Preservation and Digitization".   The funds are pending approval by the Governor and Council.

Updated Stoddard Community Planning Ordinances

National Flood Insurance Program adopted

The Planning Board has completed the necessary steps to apply to the NH Office of Energy and Planning for review to be included in the National Flood Insurance Program.  After the state has accepted the Community Planning Ordinance, Site Plan Review Regulations and Subdivision Regulations they will forward them to the regional board and they will, in turn, submit the documents to FEMA. 

Stoddard Transfer Station Closed July 4th

The Stoddard Transfer Station will be closed (per contract) on Sunday, July 4th. 

It will be open on Monday, July 5th from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM due to the holiday.

 A reminder that summer hours include Wednesdays from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM, through Columbus Day.


Summer Hours for Stoddard Recycling & Transfer Station

As a reminder, the summer hours for the Stoddard Recycling & Transfer Station are as follows:   Saturday & Sunday from 9am to 4pm, and Wednesday from Noon to 4pm.

The summer hours are now in effect through the Wednesday after Columbus Day. This information is also in the Annual Town Report.
