SELECTMEN'S MEETING MINUTES
June 22, 2020
The meeting opened at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Attendees included Christopher Madden, Chairman of Selectmen, Charles Fosberry, Selectman, Robert Fee, Selectman, Michelle Pong, Town Administrator, Harry Power, Compliance Officer and Patricia Putnam, Administrative Assistant. Several members of the public were in attendance.
APPOINTMENTS:
Harry Power – Building Permits
1. Tax Map # 420, Lot # 15 – Heather Plante, 2050 Route 9, Garage, approved
2. Tax Map # 115, Lot # 75 – Christopher Vachon, 55 Beaver Brook Drive, replace deck, approved
3. Tax Map # 118, Lot # 20 – Paul Wood, Jr & Marguerite Gregory, Turtle Rock Road, new dwelling, approved
4. Tax Map # 101, Lot # 08&09, Dominick & Kathy Grube, Garage, approved

Karen Bell - Tax Collector – Karen reported to the board that her office is very cramped and they are an extremely busy with the office reopening. She needs another printer, exclusively for the Tax Collector. The board suggested the Tax Collector functions remain in the Gould House until such time as the Town Clerk's office is expanded to accommodate 3 people. Karen and Debbie agreed to that plan.
Mary Lou Stymest reported that 6 – 9 Ash trees in the New Town Cemetery have Ash borer and have to be cut down. She has consulted with Steven Robars at the

PUBLIC QUESTIONS & COMMENTS:
1. Debby McGerty asked about a party for Ellen Mason, due to her long service to the town as Tax Collector – the board approved any celebration the staff wishes to hold.
2. Noreen Durand reported that Fibercast has bought out Pine Tree Cable and is exploring installation of fiber optics in Town by June, 2021.
3. Steve McGerty asked if a resident reports for work and tests with a temperature, it that person to be sent home. The Board said they should be sent home.
4. The lights on the Town Hall will be equipped with timers to shut off at 9:00 PM.
