Meeting Minutes for May 19, 2022

The Chairperson called the meeting to order at 7:31 pm.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Herb Healy

Roll Call: Jason Kovarik, Franz Haase, Bud Record, Milosh Bukovcan, Herb Healy, Doug Summerton

Members Excused: Franz Haase

Others present:  None

Correspondence/ Reports

• Budget was reviewed

Meeting Minutes for April 21, 2022

• Minutes were approved as amended.

Old Business

• The ZBA Budget was approved at Town Meeting. However the ZBA annual report was inadvertently omitted from that report. The Town Administrator apologized and made it available to the public on a separate paper at the Town Meeting. The report is available on the Town Web and a copy is on file in the ZBA file cabinet.

New Business  

• Discussion was held on which Board the public goes to first when requiring a special exception from the ZBA and a site plan review from the Planning Board.  Members discussed streamlining the process for the applicant by conducting a joint meeting with the Planning Board in future cases.
• Jason Kovarik has been elected as a member to the Planning Board.

 Adjournment:

• Jason made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Doug second the motion. All voted in favor. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.  The next ZBA meeting will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 7:30 pm, at the Stoddard Town Hall.
