Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting

October 19, 2023

 Minutes

The Acting Chairperson called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Franz Haase

Roll Call:  Franz Haase Acting Chair, Doug Summerton, Bud Record

Alternate Members: Milosh Bukovcan, Lauren Patton

Members Excused: Jason Kovarik, Herb Healy

Others present:  Harry Power

Public Hearing: None

Correspondence/Reports

• Secretary: Doug Hudson contacted the ZBA to say he would like to build a garage toward the back of his house. He was given the town web site and how to find the necessary forms as the new location will require a Variance for a set back incursion.
• Compliance Officer: Information from the state saying a new driveway to be paved within the 250 feet of the water needs state approval – a pre-existing driveway doesn’t need approval.  Referred a person on Anderson Rd who is building a stone wall within the 50 ft wetland area without any permits, Harry stopped the project. 
• Board Members: None

Meeting Minutes

• Doug made a motion to Approve the Sept. 21, 2023 minutes as written, Bud seconded the motion, all voted in favor.

Old Business

• Doug made motion to table the investigation into June budget question until next month. Bud seconded the motion. All approved.

New Business: None

Adjournment Motion made by Doug, seconded by Loren. All in favor. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm. All in favor.  The next meeting is on November 16, 2023 at 7:30 pm at the Stoddard Town Hall.
