TOWN OF STODDARD CHECKLIST SESSION

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session next on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 from 7 PM to 8 PM.

NEW VOTERS- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY -  RSA 654:2

Verifiable Proof of Domicile are due for applicable voters registering within 30 days of an election or on Election Day.

Effective as of 02/11/2018.

For new voters of Stoddard to register, change name, address or party, proper photo identification MUST BE SHOWN.

The Town Clerk handles motor vehicle registration (decals and plates), boat registration and renewals, dog licencesvital records (town genealogy, etc.)voter registrationmarriage licencestransfer station stickers and dock and wetland permits. See below for further information on these various activities.

The Town Clerk is also the Secretary of the Annual Town Meeting and keeps a copy of the minutes of Town Meeting at her office.

Lastly, the Town Clerk is the keeper of the ballots on election day and is responsible for making sure ballots, including absentee ballots, and voter tallys are delivered to the proper state election officials.

The Town Clerk is also a notary.

The term of office is for three years from the date of the May Town Meeting.
