PRESENT: Angel Nicoletti – Chair, Jan McGonagle – Treasurer, Christine Haase – Secretary, Inga Cullen – Director, Geri Bailey – Alternate

ABSENT: Debbi Kingsbury - Alternate

PUBLIC PRESENT: none

 

           1. Call to Order: 7:05 pm

a. Roll call: Inga, Christine, Jan, Geri

b. Minutes: 09/21/20, approved and accepted, by voice, as presented.

c. Correspondence: No correspondence to report.

d. Public Comment: none

           2. Reports:

                                A.  Financial: Jan sent reports prior to meeting. Accepted as presented.

  • CCI payment larger than normal.Now set up for automatic payment.
  • Slight difference in payroll from what we record and what town has.Jan looking into this.
  • 57% of book budget spent already.Mentioned to keep in mind for future spending.

                                B.  Library Director: Review of director’s report prior to meeting.

                                C.  Review of action Items:

  • Pat has signed the check over to library for grant Kids Books and the Arts.
  • Total of Lawn Services expenses since 07/01/20. Town paid $395 to Rex Rodanas.
  • Minutes approval and electronic receipts. Angel checking with NHLTA to be sure this will be sufficient should we be audited.
  • Additional Subs – Inga posted job listing on website, Facebook and Jobline.No response from listings.
  • Pandemic Policy regarding Staff COVID illness/exposure compensation. Angel looking into Primex coverage for compensation.
  • Cleaning Routines - Jan walked Martha and Inga through daily/weekly cleaning schedules.No need for additional time.
  • Filing of Primex Bonding Certificates added to white library info book.
  • CCI Contract - Angel will look into what fees will be associated with the contract being broken.

           3.  Old/Unfinished Business:

                                A. Re-opening issues

  • Ventilation – Checking with Bergeron Mechanical Systems to check ventilation/air exchange options. Cracking windows while open.
  • Cleaning – Jan walked Martha and Inga through daily/weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Large masks required sign on now on door of main entrance.
  • Noticeable hand sanitizer dispenser on desk.Inga to add colored paper/tape to make the sanitizer more eye catching as you come in.
  • Primex re-opening guidance – Angel considering adding as appendix to our Pandemic Policy.

                                B. FiberCast – Angel working on getting costs for library. 

                                C. Pandemic Policy – Still working on policy.  Will bring to BOT next month.

                                D. Website – Geri, Inga and Fiona met 10/19/20.  Looking into switching our site to                                           Word Press. Fiona has a list of things we would like to have on our website.  Next step is                                              getting a cost associated with the changes we are looking to make. Possible domain                                       name change.  Looking into the ongoing costs for this new site.

           4.  New Business: 

                                A. October Calendar Items – ALA membership fees due
