FEES FOR A MINOR SUBDIVISION – LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT

Defintion: A minor subdivision is when a lot line adjustment is between only two contiguous lots or within one lot and does not affect any other near-by properties.

1. APPLICATION FEE = $150.00

2.CERTIFIED MAILING TO ABUTTER FEE = $8.00 per mailing piece

3. PUBLIC NOTICE FEE = Actual cost of the ad from the publication

*ADDITIONAL FEES = The Planning Board may require investigative studies,

environmental assessments, a legal review of the documents, a review by a civil

engineer or other expert, administrative expenses and other matters necessary to

make an informed decision. The cost of such studies, reviews and investigations

shall be paid by the applicant prior to the approval or disapproval of the final plat.

4. FINAL FEE

Recording Fee at the Cheshire County Registry of Deeds = $26.00

LCHIP (State Fee) --------------------------------------------- =$25.00

TOTAL ---------------------------------------------------------- = $51.00

Note: Failure to pay any of the above costs shall constitute valid ground for the

Planning Board to terminate further consideration and to disapprove the plat

without a public hearing.
