The Story of and Songs by Stoddard Musician Elbridge Locke

Singer and storyteller Jazimina MacNeil will share the story of Stoddard musician Elbridge Locke. Several years ago, Jazimina was searching for local music and came across the story of Elbridge Locke, a Stoddard native who spent the Civil War writing and performing songs in Union Army camps across the country. Jazimina, a nationally recognized singer, will share Locke’s story and perform his songs. She will be accompanied by well-known local musician Gordon Peery.
