Minutes of Meeting January 21, 2021

The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson at 7:34 pm.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jason Kovarik.

Members present: Chairperson Jason Kovarik, Vice Chairperson Franz Haase, Bud Record, Herb Healy,

Hearing

Nothing on the schedule

New Business

Application and member forms were updated using the current Zoning Board Handbook. The secretary will ask to have them updated on the Town Web.

Discussed a process to resume Covid safe site visits.

Discussion on fact finding and individual worksheets. Facts to be included on Decision Notices.

Discussed reviewing applications at meetings prior to scheduling a hearing and/or site visit.

The Secretary will ask Town Administrator to include a link to Appendix B from the NH Zoning Board site, to the Forms section of the ZBA Town Web. It explains the purpose of each type of application to assist applicants in choosing the correct form.

Discussion was held on the need of more clarity in the Town CPO which the ZBA uses for guidance in making decisions during Hearings.

The minutes were approved as amended in the second bullet under Hearing, second sentence: along with where & when it was posted.

A Motion was made by Franz to adjourn. The Motion was seconded by Bud. The Motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:50 pm. The next meeting will be Feb 18, 2021 at 7:30 pm at the Stoddard Town Hall and on Zoom.
