Results of Public Hearing on Proposed Changes to the Community Planning Ordinance

A Public Hearing was held on March 19, 2024 by the Planning Board to address three proposed amendments to the Community Planning Ordinance (CPO). 

  1. Article III:3:E          Accessory Dwelling Units
  2. Article VI                 Non-Conforming Lots
  3. Article XIV:V           Signs Permitted as Special Exceptions

After a review of the proposed changes and public discussion, the three amendments were approved by the Planning Board.  The three amendments and the meeting minutes are attached to this news announcement. The current CPO can be found on the Planning Board Website.  The three amendments will appear on the May, 2024, Town Ballot.

The public is urged to review these amendments prior to May, 2024 election.
